the conflicts have been with but neither the board chair Jamie Lunder nor CEO Nisha Anand have made public statements following the reports.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">A subsidiary of Dream.org is also reportedly laying off staff\u00a0despite Bezos\u2019 climate fund \u2013 a separate three-year, $10 million grant in 2020.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Several ex-employees said the group blew through the money with little to show for it, and\u00a0Bezos\u2019 nonprofit has not renewed the grant.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">\u2018Quite a few people have questions about the fiscal stewardship that Dream.org has had,\u2019 CeCe Grant, Dream\u2019s former director of government affairs said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">A spokesman for Jones did not deny he had been ousted from the board but said: \u2018Van continues to work within the justice innovation space and beyond.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">\u2018He is a proud supporter of their work at every level.\u00a0With Dream.org\u2019s support, he is working to launch a new, complementary initiative, which will be announced soon.\u2019<\/p>\n<p \u2018driven by racism\u2019 \u2013 despite them all being black.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Jones wrote in the aftermath of the incident that\u00a0black people \u2018are not immune\u2019 to the effects of anti-black racism and that the narratives of police violence should never be as simple as \u2018white cop kills unarmed black man.\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">\u2018Society\u2019s message that Black people are inferior, unworthy and dangerous is pervasive,\u2019 Jones wrote.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">\u2018Over many decades, numerous experiments have shown that these ideas can infiltrate Black minds as well as White.
